The NuAire NU-629-400 is a 4-foot nominal width, Class II, Type A2 animal handling biological safety cabinet and cage-changing station designed for laboratory and vivarium use.
- Airflow & Filtration: Features a 12-inch access opening, 105 FPM (feet per minute) air barrier inflow velocity, and 99.99% HEPA filtration for both supply and exhaust air. Recirculates approximately 70% of air while exhausting 30%.
- Design & Construction: Built with an all-welded Type 304 stainless steel interior/exterior and negative pressure contaminated ducts and plenums.
- Ergonomics: Includes an electronic auto-lift work surface adjustable from 23.75 to 38.75 or 42.75 inches.
- Electrical: Operates on 115 VAC (also configurable across 100V–230V ranges depending on the regional model setup), utilizing an energy-saving DC/ECM blower motor.
