Description
Applikon Z310110010 ez-Control Bioreactor System
This system is manufactured in 2009, and in very good operational condition. Instrument initializes well, there is a small scratch on the touch screen. Agitation motor operates and reached 1481 rpm. Heating blanket operates, it is from applikon yet it is powered by a conventional outlet and not integrated in the instrument. Emergency stop tested as operational. We have included a temperature probe that tested responsively. Main feed pump and alkali pump were tested and operated successfully. No vessel is included with this sale.
The Applikon Z310110010 is the Applikon Biotechnology ez-Control Bioreactor System, an automated benchtop system designed for accurate, real-time control of laboratory-scale and pilot-scale bioprocesses. It is commonly used for the precise cultivation of microorganisms or cell cultures, managing critical process variables like pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), and agitation.
- Power Requirements: Typically configured for 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz with a power consumption rating of around 1300 VA.
- Physical Dimensions: The primary controller unit measures approximately 16 x 15 x 28 inches.
- User Interface: Equipped with an integrated color touchscreen interface for local, real-time control.
- Connectivity: Features standard Ethernet ports for network-based data collection and system communication
The Applikon P100e (often referenced alongside the Applikon P100 series) is a laboratory-grade overhead stirrer motor assembly and drive unit manufactured by Applikon Biotechnology B.V. for use with benchtop bioreactors and fermenters.
- Device Type: Top-mounted agitator/stirrer motor drive for laboratory bioreactors
- Compatibility: Integrates with Applikon bioreactor controllers such as the EZ-Control and ADI series (e.g., ADI 1032 Stirrer Controller or ADI 1030)
- Operating Voltage: Typically operates on low-voltage DC power (approx. 16V DC supplied via controller)
- Speed Range: Generally, ranges up to 1,250 RPM to 2,000 RPM depending on the specific configuration and controller settings
- Application: Provides controlled, low-shear or high-stability mixing for glass or stainless-steel bioreactor vessels in life science and bioprocessing labs
Applikon part ZC313DHB100 (often stylized as part of Applikon/Getinge’s bioreactor standard catalog numbering) refers to a specialized heating blanket designed for Applikon Biotechnology bioreactor and fermenter glass vessels.
- Application: It is used as an actuator component for lab-scale upstream bioprocessing. It wraps around the glass autoclavable vessel to provide precise temperature control, managed by an external process controller such as the Applikon my-Control or ez-Control systems.
- Structure: These blankets are typically constructed from flexible silicone rubber integrated with internal resistance heating elements, drawing standard laboratory voltage (typically 110V/120V).
