The Venturi Acid Fume Hood Base Cabinet (associated with VWR/Contour corrosive storage units like VWR® Contour Acid Storage Fume Hood Base Cabinets) is engineered to safely store corrosive chemicals underneath a laboratory fume hood.

- Design & Construction: Lined with a molded, one-piece linear low-density polyethylene tub featuring coved corners and a 1″ retention lip at the bottom front.
- Doors: 2-door configuration with doors lined in sheet polyethylene and secured with a nylon roller catch.
- Venting: Includes a flexible polyolefin tube (1½” I.D.) designed to connect directly into the fume hood exhaust system above (typically requiring a 2″ hole cut into the hood work surface).
- Dimensions (DxLxH): 20 x 36 x 35 in.
- Fume Hood / Work Surface: The CFG-2806-V is designed to serve as a base support unit for a compatible laboratory fume hood (typically a 36-inch-wide benchtop or hood superstructure).
- Sizing Rule: When matching an upper fume hood or worktop to this base, you need a unit with a nominal exterior width of 36 inches and compatible depth/load tolerances so that the edges align properly with the 36″ W × 20″ D footprint of the base cabinet.
