The Thomson Multiported Optimum Growth 5L Flask (931116-PORT-TRT-F) is a sterile, single-use shake flask specifically designed for high-yield, low-shear mammalian and insect cell cultures. It features multiple ports for aseptic transfer and sampling without compromising sterility.

    • Recommended Working Volume: 1.7 L to 3.2 L (up to 5–6 L depending on the cell line) 
    • Fill Volume Percentage, 40% to 60% (significantly higher than traditional Fernbach flasks) 
    • Baffles: Single proprietary baffle for optimal aeration and minimal shear stress 
    • Cap Style: Vented Cap with 0.2 µm filter for maximum gas exchange
