Description
Bio Rad Luminex BioPlex 200 w/Luminex XYP Microplate Platform
This system is in very good condition. Instrument initializes and connects with software. Calibration logs and serial number verified through software. Plate opening/closing; needle movement is operational. Missing the OEM sheath fluid air bottle, a carboy may be used as a substitute. We were able to establish that the pumps are circulating fluid and expelling waste. We have the dongle that enables communication w/ the PC. Will come with what is shown.
The Bio-Rad Luminex 100/200 (marketed as the Bio-Plex 200 System) is a suspension array system that analyzes up to 100 protein or nucleic acid biomolecules in a single microplate well.
The Bio-Rad Luminex XYP is an automated microplate platform accessory (often integrated with the Bio-Plex 100/200 or Luminex 100/200 systems) used for high-throughput multiplex assays.
- Multiplexing Capacity: Up to 100 analytes per sample (or 80 using MagPlex microspheres).
- Dynamic Range: ≥ 3.5 logs (70 dB).
- Lasers: Reporter laser at 532 nm (>10 mW, frequency-doubled diode; 30 × 60 μm elliptical beam) and classification laser at 635 nm (10 mW diode; 30 × 60 μm elliptical beam).
- Fluidics: Sheath flow rate of 90 μl/s with a 200 μm square flow channel cuvette. Sample injection rate is 60 μl/s.
- Detection Electronics: Photomultiplier tube (PMT) for the reporter channel (14-bit A/D resolution) and avalanche photodiodes (APDs) with temperature compensation for classification and doublet discriminator channels (12-bit A/D resolution).
- Throughput / Read Time: Processes a 96-well microplate in ≤ 45 minutes (up to 9,600 to 12,800 tests/hour depending on protocol).
- Operating Environment: Temperature of 15–30°C (59–86°F), non-condensing humidity of 20–80% and designed to operate up to 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) above sea level.
- Power Requirements: 100–240 V, 47–63 Hz input voltage range.
- Dimensions (LxWxH): 28 x 25 x 37 in.
- Weight: approximately 60 lbs.
Luminex XYP
- Microplate Platform: Automatically positions and moves 96-well microplates into the reader.
- Heating Block (XYP): Provides temperature control for incubation steps during multiplex assays.
- System Integration: Frequently paired with the Luminex SD (Sample Delivery / Fluid Delivery Device) and the Bio-Plex 100/200 array reader to automate sample processing and fluid handling.
- Applications: Used in life science research laboratories to simultaneously measure multiple protein, peptide, or nucleic acid targets (such as cytokines, chemokines, and disease biomarkers) from small sample volumes
- Software & Compliance: Controlled via Bio-Plex Manager Software, with optional support for US FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory compliance (Security Edition)
- Dimensions (WxDxH): 17.25 x 23.5 x 3 in.
- Weight: 33 lbs.
